LOCATION: RENO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
RESPONSIBILITIES: PHN I: Performs general public health nu! rsing services. PHN II: Duties of PHN I plus performs physical health assessments as a KDHE certified nurse.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: PHN I: BSN degree preferred. Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Kansas. Requires a minimum of at least 1year experience in public health, medical/surgical or pediatric nursing. PHN II: Requirements of PHN I plus must be certified by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to perform physical assessments. Occasional after hour services may be needed depending on a client’s needs. This paid On-call duty is rotated between the staff on a weekly basis. Possess a valid Kansas driver’s license; successfully pass drug screen and physical capacity profile. Ability to communicate in Spanish desirable.
STATUS AND SALARY: FULL-TIME 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
(Occasional evenings and/or weekends)
Grade 32 $17.93 - $20.99
