Job Title: Software Project Manager (Python, Android, iOS, Machine Learning)
Job Summary:
We are a new startup company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Project Manager to lead our development team in creating cutting-edge web and mobile applications utilizing Python, Android, iOS, and Machine Learning technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project development cycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead project planning and execution activities, ensuring that project scope, schedule, and budget are well-defined and closely managed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, design solutions, and identify risks and opportunities
Work closely with the development team to ensure that project deliverables are technically sound, and that all project milestones are met on time
Manage project risks and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, project schedules, status reports, and other related documents
Ensure effective communication with project stakeholders, including executive management, team members, clients, and third-party vendors
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing progress updates and ensuring that project objectives are met
Facilitate effective team collaboration, ensuring that team members are aligned and motivated to deliver high-quality work
Lead continuous improvement efforts, seeking ways to optimize project delivery processes and tools
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations on the adoption of new tools and techniques to improve project delivery
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in software project management, with at least 5 years of experience in managing complex web and mobile application development projects
Strong technical knowledge of Python, Android, iOS, and Machine Learning technologies, and experience leading development teams using these technologies
Experience in Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of software developers
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage project documentation effectively
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues quickly and effectively
