Description: Univ of Kansas Medical Center is currently seeking to employ Chief Resident, Pediatrics right now, this job will be assigned in Kansas. Detailed specification about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. The Pediatric Chief Resident is a junior faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics. The Pediatric Chief Resident has two distinct roles. The first is to s! erve as the liaison between the pediatric residents, pediatric faculty members and pediatric leadership. This half of the position includes significant responsibilities for administration of the residency program including managing multiple schedules as well as teaching and mentoring responsibilities for medical students and residents. The other half of the position is that of clinical faculty with attending responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Required Qualifications

June 2014 Graduate of an ACGME accredited pediatrics residency program.

Preferred Qualifications

June 2014 Graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Pediatrics Residency Program, Kansas City.

? Assist PMEC staff in planning for resident retreat and party planning
