Job Purpose
Support the Vaccines for Children program and contract goals. Promote the quality assurance (QA) review of participating providers, using Quality Improvement Methodology. Collect and interpret data to identify opportunities for improvement related to recommended vaccine administration, management and storage.
Job Duties
- Participate in required company and program training.
- Maintain communication and feedback necessary for program performance.
- Using a customer service and educational approach, develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with providers and their staff.
- Organize, schedule and conduct on-site reviews at provider ! sites.
- Review immunization status using federal gover! nment software.
- Interpret data gathered and confer with provider sites to identify problems and opportunities for improvements.
- Promote and provide guidance and resources to provider staff on recommended vaccine administration, management and storage.
- Timely completion, review and submission of site visit forms, reports and other related materials.
- Regional and statewide travel weekly.
- Utilize laptop computer, printer, and other common office equipment.
- Identify and resolve problems or refer issues appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Adapt to the needs of internal and external customers.
- Assure compliance with regulatory, contractual and accreditation entities.
- Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and security policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current state license
- 3 years in a healthcare environment
- Preferred: Pediatric
- Preferred: Physician Office or Home Health Setting
- Preferred: Quality Assurance or Quality Improvement
- Current state Driver License (Class C) and proof of current state minimum auto liability insurance
