REGISTERED NURSELOCATION:Wichita 3 - 5 SiteHOURS:16 hours per week, 48 weeks per yearSALARY:$16.05 per hourREQUIREMENTS: Equivalent of B.S.N. or R.N. with 2 years experience in community health, pediatrics or school nursing. Current Kansas Registered Nurse License.
Ability to attain and maintain certification for audio metric testing. Must pass physical screening and health certificate, valid drivers license, reliable personal vehicle and liability insurance.RESPONSIBILITY: Serves as Consultant/Facilitator for Head Start 0-5Program Health Services to children, families and staff. Assists in the identification, coordiÂnation, completion of service and evaluation of health or family problems of enÂrollÂed children. Maintains awareness of current health services available in the community and works with physicians and other local health care providers to meet the needs of enrolled children.
Responsible for the coordiÂnation of health follow-up services to identified children. Documents all health/family services that have been provided. Monitors health records at center sites. Administers and reads TB skin tests for staff and volunteers.
