KRC.1010.1802.13 Internal Medicine/Pediatric position available to oversee care of rural health clinic, acute, swing, long term care, and ER patients. Fully renovated 16 bed critical access hospital and rural health clinic are at your disposal as well as a 20 bed LTC facility. One Physician Assistant is currently on staff. The population that this position serves is diverse and growing.
The staff is very family oriented, easy going, and focused on small rural community living. The 8-5 schedule allows for time outside of the practice to have a normal life. Call coverage will be 8 days per 28 day cycle. Hospital services include radiology (fully digital), CT, MRI, Lab, Scope procedures, echo, sono, ultrasount, etc.Benefits to include loan repayment availability, relocation cost coverage, CME allowance, vacation, health insurance (hospital pays full coverage), malpractice (hospital pays full coverage), and pension.
Salary range is negotiable as is contract duration. Featured is a display of medical equipment from an early 20th century doctor’s office.The Post Rock Museum displays an authentic re-creation of a stone quarry used to cut posts for fencing. Also displayed are tools and other items depicting the history of post rock unique to the region. The museum is located in a native stone house built around 1883 that was moved to its present location in 1963.The County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the courthouse was constructed in 1888 and is an excellent example of 19th century architecture.
