Registered Nurse

Accountable for coordinating and delivering all the services in the Independence oncology satellite clinic in conjunction with Mercy Health System of Kansas and Cancer Center of Kansas policies and procedures to ensur! e high quality patient care to all patients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing.
Experience: Previous chemo and / or oncology experience preferred.
Licensure: Current RN license in the State of Kansas.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must be completed within three months of employment.
Other: Verbal/written communication skill are necessary to understand patient's chars, doctors' orders, nursing care plan, and medication orders. Computer skill necessary.This co-worker is educated and capable of performing patient care for all age groups -- pediatrics through geriatrics. May float to other areas. Co-worker works as a team member. May make complex decisions surrounding patient care. Handles confidential information regarding patients and records.
