Pediatric Intensivists and Medical Director: Topeka, Kansas We have an exciting opportunity for a BC pediatric intensi! vist to serve as medical director and two BC/BE pediatric intensivists to join our existing team of four neonatologists at Stormont Vail Medical Center in a new state-of-the-art Level-II trauma center. This six-bed multidisciplinary PICU provides comprehensive critical care management to our young patients. This new trauma unit is forecasted to have 200-250 admissions per year. Services include conventional and high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide.
Provide in-house coverage during day and for the remainder of the day, take calls. Facility offers pediatric subspecialty support along with our affiliated group of neonatologists and hospital employed pediatric hospitalists. This is an outstanding opportunity to be involved in helping to establish and grow this practice.The city of Topeka resides between two major university towns and is one hour away from Kansas City.
