Pediatric Hospitalist

Location: Lawrence, Kansas

Description: Mednax is at the momment seeking for Pediatric Hospitalist right now, this vacancy will be hold in Kansas. We are seeking per diem BC pediatrician for a pediatric hospitalist position at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS. 
Responsibilities include covering the newborn nursery (which may include low Level-II NICU patients), attending high-risk deliveries as requested, covering the peds floor and providing consults in the ED as needed. 
The census between the NBN and pediatric floor averages 6-12 patients. 
Physicians are in the hospital from 8:00am-4:00pm and on call from home. 
The community has 6 pediatricians who have the hospitalist cover their patients in the hospital.
