KRC.1112.0710.01 Full time BC/BE pediatrician to practice state of art pediatrics in a small town environment. As the only pediatric clinic in 5 counties, we afford the opportunity to treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses serving as the medical home for both "normal" and many special needs children. Children requiring subspecialty care are referred to surrounding cities. This is a mission driven team of professionals working together to meet the pediatric medical needs of children. Physicians and employees must demonstrate a genuine heart for ch! ildren and families. We, and members of the clinic staff, valu! e our own families, exhibit a healthy humility and love to laugh. Currently on staff are 3 physicians, 2 APRNs, 6 RNs as well as office manager and support staff.
Call coverage is 1 in 3 alternating with 2 other pediatricians with RNs and APRNs helping cover after hour phone calls.
The clinic is recently remodeled, child friendly, a participant in KS AAP, Reach Out and Read and has a new EMR. The new local hospital has a level II nursery, 4 bed pediatric unit, 24 hour staffed ER, plus state of the art ancillary services available at an outpatient & ambulatory surgery center.
The base salary is $130,000-$136,000 for new physicians and is negotiable with experienced physicians. There is also an incentive/production bonus each month. Other benefits to include relocation coverage, CME allowance, 3 weeks vacation, 1 week CME, sick leave, simple IRA retirement with matching practice contribution, family health and dental insurance and paid malpractice. !
