KRC.0214.0302.22 Internal Medicine position with an award winning health center that provides comprehensive primary medical, dental and behavioral health services. This is a multi-specialty (FP, PEDS, IM) federally qualified health center with excellent support staff and resources including on-site pharmacy, robust IT and EMR Department and a full-time QA/Risk Manager. Currently undergoing a $5.2 million expansion adding 25,000 sq. ft to a 15,000 sq. ft. facility opened in 2009. Construction is designed around the PCMH concept.
Current staffing includes 2 internists, 2.5 FPs/OB and 3 pediatricians plus 6 NPs/PAs including one based full-time at the hospital. This position offers a four day work week in clinic; typically 9-5. Weekday off is negotiable but typically Monday or Friday. Call coverage is a modified hospitalist program with physician assigned to hospital/call one week a month with three weeks of no-c! all. Mid-levels take first call for clinic and consult on-call! physician if needed. Patient load is typically 15-17 per day in clinic.
Excellent benefits include malpractice coverage through federal tort claims act (suits all go toward the U.S. not to individuals), 23 paid days off, short-term and long-term disability, employer annual contribution of 5% of annual salary into pension, health and life insurance and short term illness protection, $3000 annual CME allowance/40 hours per year. Loan repayment and relocation costs are also available. Salary range of $170,000-190,000 and contract duration are negotiable.
