The nurse assistant aids in the daily administration of patient care on the nursing unit under the supervision of the director of Medical-Surgical-! Pediatric Department, Charge Nurse, or delegate. The nurse assistant is a mature, self-directed, organized and responsible person who works with co-workers, other members of the health team, medical staff, the administrative personnel, patients and patient families promoting positive relationships and environment. Maintains current BLS certification. Services are provided to a wide range of clients with ages from infant through geriatrics.
Experience: Kansas CNA license, BLS, at least two years full-time hospital patient cares experience preferred.
