Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:
Acute
Home health
Long-term care
Outpatient
Pediatric
Psychiatry
Rehabilitation
School

Required Qualifications

WE need an experienced SLP to handle a mix of inpatient and outpatient rehab. Typical caseload will be between 5-8 patients a day. We need a! n individual that can perform modified barium swallow studies,! pediatrics and vital stim. This is a FIRM 4/1 Start! Will be scheduled for 40 hours with a 36 hour gaurantee for flexibility
