Ideal candidate must be a team player, have excellent communication skills, be self motivated and have a strong passion for children and family centered care. Requirements:
- Board Certified Pediatric Critical Care
PICU Info:
- 6 beds, excellent pediatric sub-specialties are on faculty to provide consultation
- Primarily a clinical practice with a strong emphasis on education of medical students and residents
- 400-500 admissions per year
- 10 days of PICU inpatient service per month
- Rotation between: PICU, sedation, and academic/administrative
- PCIU average daily census about 4
- Quality improvement program in place
- Academic appointment in the Dept of Pediatriacs
